Check in is 2pm and check out is 10am every day. Should you want early check in, you can check with us for availability. Late check in and check out will attract extra charges. 

Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and in common areas. There are designated areas where guests can smoke. Request ashtrays when you check in at the reception. 

No, there are five rooms with both a bath and a shower  and one room with a shower only. Please be sure to book the correct room type.

No, Serene Place provides breakfast for our guests and the kitchen is off-limits for guests. Please do not bring food into Serene Place that needs to be prepared. You are welcome to order in food from surrounding restaurants, however.

Unfortunately, Serene Place is not licensed to sell liquor, so all alcoholic drinks must be provided by guests themselves.

We are primarily a bed and breakfast guesthouse. However, Dinner and Lunch can be pre-booked with our in-house chef the day before.

Braai can be prepared by our chef at a cost. It should be pre-booked a day before.

Serene Place is an adults-only guesthouse that has a minimum check-in age of  10 years. We do not host younger children and therefore do not carry additional beds or cots. Children over 10 years old will be charged the same as adult.
